good enough
@teddyh thanks! Good luck to you all
Does anyone know when did they email rejected international students last year? Did they do it in one day? Also, was it before or after the official notification date (20th in our case)?
@colleges321 Idk the exact time but it was on the day letters were sent sometime at night
@a20171 Thanks, so that means that if an internat. student doesn’t receive an email on 20/21. he is accepted?
@colleges321 thats how it went last year
What is everyone’s stats?
3.35 UW/3.9 W GPA, 1310 SAT, great recs, excellent ECs and outstanding essays
well the huge storm will definitely delay our acceptances/rejections… 8-|
I don’t think it will be delayed because decisions have been made for a while, I still think monday
thats true but I feel like we would have gotten our decisions earlier than that if there hadn’t been a storm
How much of a factor do standardized test scores play in the admission process? I feel like the only thing holding me back could potentially be my act score since it is not in the middle 50 range
@zbday11 i mean colgate is holistic so if you have great ECs/gpa then they may look over your ACT score. However, it is impossible to tell anything without looking at your whole application
I’m worried about the GPA aspect of it. Go to a competitive international school where I’m in the Top 10 Percentile, however, my GPA sucks balls so idk how they’ll view that.
I’m good on most other fronts though
im nervous about both my sat and gpa hahaha. hopefully theyll overlook those with my extra curriculars
International student here, Colgate is my reach though, but still hope for the best Good luck to allll
Wait, is anyone sure about the whole international student thing? Does anyone know an international student that got accepted ED? Someone told me that they might email acceptances to international students as well
All acceptance letters are either mailed or sent by international courier.
There are no e-mailed acceptance notifications.
Good luck with your applications!
If you open last years’ thread, internationals got their rejections via email on the decision release date itself.
