i take ab calc, ap psych, and ap env science.. all other classes are easy classes

for ab calc, 1st mp-> B- 2nd mp-> B.. 3rd mp, mid mp i have an F
i kinda slacked off and did not study for my first 2 tests this mp and payed the price for it.. i m kinda panicking right now. i got 50/100 and 58/100.. we still have 3 more tests left this mp and i plan on studying really hard and making sure i get 100s on all of them.

do you think if i end up with a C this mp, and take a guess at B or B- in the 4ht mp that it would get my college acceptance revoked from Rutgers University and Binghamton?

A C is highly unlikely to result in any school revoking your acceptance.

It usually takes either a failing grade or multiple Ds.

i know a child that was highly recruited to Stanford for athletics and accpeted; got a C her last semester of senior year in AP Calc AB and was told to wait a year, retake the class…brutal.

RedSeven- thanks for that
rowingparent- wow that is brutal…

colleges look at final grades rite? not mp grades individually?
any more insight or stories would be great

The quarter isn’t even over for you, you still have time to bring up your grade (and I suggest you do everything in your power to do so). I failed a class my second marking period during my senior year, and so far it has been a pretty big mess. I had to e-mail admissions explaining myself and suffer from some pretty unnecessary stress. In hindsight I wish I pushed a bit more to get it straightened out.

But anyways, you still have time: use it wisely.

Also, an F isn’t an auto-revoke like most people believe. Be proactive if it does happen.
