I’m a junior this year and I have a 2.4 gpa as of now (I slacked off so much freshman year) and I hope to bring it up to at least a 2.7 at end of the school year. I plan to get at least a 1600 on my SAT/ 21 on my ACT. I am taking one AP class next year. I have a job and do an outside of school sport. I would like to know what my chances of getting into the schools I’m looking into are. Bloomsburg University of Pennsylvania, West Chester University of Pennsylvania, Kutztown University of Pennsylvania, East Stroudsburg University of Pennsylvania, Widener University, Rowan University, Monmouth University, University of Rhode Island, and I know it’s a big strech but, University of Delaware. I am a New Jersey Resident if that matters. Thanks:)
Google the Common Data Set for each school and go to Section C where they have the stats for the admitted students. That’s the best way to chance yourself for any school. The other important conversation to have is with your parents about what they can afford and what, if any, criteria they have for you choice of college. No point getting invested in schools that they can’t pay for.
Agreed. Work with your parents to run the Net Price Calculator on each of those schools to see what your cost of attendance might be; you can find them on the financial aid page of each college’s website.
