College Admission- Question...

Hello
I am a highschool stdent from Israel.
I have family in the states, who offered me to move there and finish highschool in the sates, in the hopes of being accepted to a good American university. (Of course moving there means seperating from close family and friends...)

My question is- are the chances of a student who graduated from highschool in the states to get accepted to a good American university significantly higher then the chances of a foreign student (a good student) from Israel ?

Thanks.

You will still be considered an international student because you are not a U.S. citizen or permanent resident and will be evaluated against the pool of other international students.

Sybbie is right. You will still be considered as an international student. However you come from a country which does not send so many students to the US for college, so that may help you.

BTW, if you don't mind me asking, where are you from in Israel?

I'm from Haifa.
