College Admissions - Activities Question

Hello, I have a question that has been bugging me for the past days... I wanted to know if colleges don't mind that you practice a sport off school. In other words, I am a speed skater, and there is no speed skating team in my school, so what I had to do was actually to go to this park that is by my side and join the team. We are really good and we have practice like every single day for 4 years, so it is not like a fake sports team. The bad thing is that it is not in my high school campus. So, my question is, when colleges ask you for the activities and sports you have been involved with, would it look weird that I practice a sport off school? Thank you so much!

of course not. just because it is off school campus does not make it less valid. one might say it is even better because you are following your passions and interests outside the confinements of school. and that of course applies to any similar activities. so do not hesitate if you got more of those
