Have you looked to see what the SAT scores are for the schools you’re considering?

Yes and my SAT/ACT scores are far higher than the average

It’s going to be a stretch at selective schools given your low GPA and your unimpressive ECs.

Are you a Virginia resident? If so, I’d say your chances are much better than if you’re out of state.

George Mason is the only one I’d be confident of.

I think you’ll be accepted at George Mason and Virginia Tech for sure. The other three are extremely competitive, but it doesn’t hurt to try. Good Luck!

As everyone else said, Virginia Tech, and George Mason for sure. Considering the location of your colleges, I am going to guess you are a Virginia resident. If so, then I would say you have a great chance at UVA, and William&Mary. Georgetown is a bit tougher to guess since it is a highly competitive school. Not saying you don’t have a shot at Georgetown, but highly competitive schools tend to be random.

I forgot to mention that I am on the Debate Team, Key Club, and FBLA for 2 years. Does that make a difference? I am a Virginia Residence.
