College Algebra vs Pre-Cal

Alright so I go to an ECHS so all my classes are dual-credit.

I can either do:

Junior Year: College Algebra, Pre-Cal
Senior Year: Calc 1, Calc 2

or I can do

Junior Year: Pre-Cal, Calc 1
Senior Year: Calc 2, Calc 3

I would just have to take a test/summer school to skip college algebra but I will get no GPA points for it. All of these classes are weighted the same. Apparently College Algebra is a grade booster and since I came from a regular high school (where weightings are different), it would probably help my rank. I have straight 100’s in Algebra 2 right now and College Algebra basically covers the material again. I plan on either going into biology or accounting and I don’t believe that either of those majors require high math courses. Even then, I’m sure I would have to take retake Calc 2, 3 in college anyway because most colleges prefer you take higher level courses in their college, correct?

I wouldn’t take college Algebra. Its redundant if you have algebra 2 and precalc.

True, the only reason I’m considering it is for a GPA Boost
