Just wondering if any College Applicants this year have heard anything yet?

Yup.
But i'm a special exception. I skipped my senior year to go to college for one year and then the academy. I recieved an LOA recently, followed by my vision waiver, and now my appointment is in the mail.
I'm pretty sure they didnt' put me in the pool of regular candidates.

Hey PP! I remember you from last year! College applicants hear a little later from what I recall. You might try to get in touch w/ Dmeix - he was a college applicant last year.

Hey Sealion! Whats the latest for you guys? Any word?

Im a college applicant and I just received a call from my BGO yesterday. He half expected me to have heard yesterday and stated that if I haven't heard within two weeks, he was gonna call admissions and see what's up. Hopefully a good sign, but we shall see. :-)

-Jason

Now THAT's something to crow about! Kokadoodledoo! Go get 'em Foghorn! We're 'crowing' for you. ;)

When you say college applicant, do you mean people who have already been in college a year or more?

WP- Oh I think everyone within electronic screaming distance is gonna hear me crow! But until then, I'll go by the phrase: ‘not until the fat lady sings!!!’ haha. hopefully good news soon!

Grant- I would assume most 'college applicants' are in their second semester of a civilian college or USNA foundation school, i.e., still a freshman. I on the other hand am currently in my forth semester at NC State as a sophomore. If USNA doesn’t work out, Ill be joining the NCSU NROTC Battalion.
