<p>I am looking for a song that is not too overdone to pair with "Art is Calling for Me" (The Enchantress). I was hoping it would be:
-For a soprano
-Contemporary
-A ballad</p>
<p>Ideally, I wanted to sing "Pretty Funny" from Dogfight the Musical; however, the sheet music from that show has not been released. </p>

<p>Whew, Art is Calling For Me! I’m guessing if you’re doing something of that nature that you’re a completely beyond question soprano and are more comfortable with music more classical in nature? The first thing that comes to mind would be “Will He Like Me” from She Loves Me or the title song from The Light in the Piazza. If you have a grasp on your soprano belt you could try “Hold Down the Fort” from John & Jen. I give song suggestions hesitantly because your type is extremely important in making monologue and song choices!</p>
<p>Where are you auditioning? You might want to consider that The Enchantress is an operetta and not exactly what every MT program might be looking for. Depending on the program though, this would be completely fine, I just thought it might be worth mentioning!</p>
