no im not a ■■■■■ … Just wondering how they track facebook, myspace and stuff

they might look you up on facebook, but they probably won’t

calm your boobies

What is the telecommunication act???

^^^
When you send in your application, they put a tracking cookie on your computer.

Oh welll… What happens if zomeone got rid of the computer

Im not that stupid

^
If you get rid of the computer within a week or two, they definitely won’t catch you. But you couldn’t just give it to a relative or a friend, you would have to either sell it to a complete stranger or throw it away.

Im not that stupid and how the hell do they put it on your computer.? Their not gonna go to your computer N put it there

Dude im not gonna give it to some strange just cuz i dont myself to get in trouble and let them be

Read the Telecommunications Act… If you sent in the application, you gave them the right to do it.

I’m assuming you put down your address on your application? If so, then they can easily access your computer… They work with the government.

Ok … ?? Ok so wheres the proof that i did it its a family shared computer… I. Just go on facebook and logged on most of the time

I am telling you this solely out of concern for you. If you don’t want to believe me, then you can either face the consequences of your despicable actions or research about it yourself.

I did research it said thAt only the government could use it with some stuff form the court… N i share a computer… So ure saying that if someone goes on that computer and did some inappropriate stuff i get in trouble?

Im never going to click on those goddamn sites again

^good plan

Main article: Communications Decency Act
outlines regulations regarding obscene programming on cable television, the scrambling of cable channels for nonsubscribers, the scrambling of sexually explicit adult video service programming, the cable operators’ refusal to carry certain programs, coercion and enticement of minors, and online family empowerment, including a requirement for the manufacture of televisions that block programs using V-chip technology. Title V also gives a clarification of the current laws regarding communication of obscene materials through the use of a computer.
Got thT from wikipedia Nd look at the bottom line

Thats part of telecomunication act of 1996

We have a relatively private internet in the United States.
I highly doubt that colleges care if you look at explicit material before you enroll in their school. But I suppose, if you were accessing it before you were of legal age, it would affect their decision. But I don’t think they have the time to look up every site you have visited. And there’s no proof that you yourself were using it. When you work for the government they don’t even do that, okay so be calm and carry on.

Also, can’t you always use the excuse “My friend was the one that visited the inappropriate site”?

Also, why the **** should colleges care about what you do on your own time, outside of the realm of the university?

So the telecommunication of 1996 doesnt matter?
