Question.

I know that when one takes college courses in HS, they 99% of the time show up on the future college attended's transcript as transfer credit, meaning the credit transfers, but the grade doesn't.

Do these College in HS grades show up to Med/Dental schools however? If one got an A-, would it be better not to transfer it and take the course again for a full A in "real" college?

When applying to medical or dental school, you are required to send transcripts from every college you’ve ever attended. (Even if you only audit a class or withdrew without earning any grades.) This mean any dual enrollment credits you earn in high school will be part of your application and that any grades earned will be included when computing your GPA and sGPA.

It doesn’t matter if you transfer the credits to your undergraduate college or whether the grade appears on your college transcript. It’s part of the your academic record and will be included as part of your med/dent school application.

Failing to report these grades will result in a delay in the verification of your application and could possibly be considered as making a fraudulent application. (Which is a bad, bad thing.)
