I'm a bit confused about getting credit for taking college course in the summer. Last summer I took psych and statistics at the community college and got A's in them both. I recieved transferrable credit and its on my high school transcript. In order to get out of these classes in college do I need to take and pass the AP exams as well? or is it already taken care of since I got A's in the classes.

Sorry to be vague, but it depends on the college. Some accept all transfer credit; others are picky.

Your #1 problem at the moment is addressing the question of why are you doing anything academic in the summer?

^^ step off, seriously, let him/her make their own decision. They asked for an answer to a question, not a life lesson.

Depends on which college you go to - I did the same thing for Biology and Precalc at a local university, and i may or may not be able to transfer credits, depending on where I go. But if you are going to the SAME college at where you took the classes, the most likely case is that you do not need to retake the class, or do the AP course (if its the same material and level).
