One of the most exciting last two minutes I have ever seen! GO HOKIES!!!

Looks like Notre Dame’s going to survive after leaving a MSU receiver wide open in the endzone.

Probably wise not to mention them, given how many times they’ve gifted games to USC over the last few years.

Strong 3-0 start for my 'Heels, we’ll have to see if we can take care of Ga Tech next weekend.

stop being butthurt, you lost

Just saying, LSU beat Washington who beat USC.

Hey I’m not whining, I’m just saying what happened…injuries happen to every team… it just meant that this time Washington had the better team on the field…

And the helmet to helmet is a safety thing…USC plays aggressive defense and gets penalized all the time when it goes over the edge (as they should).

And when I say pac-10 refs are terrible I fully admit that I’ve seen dozens of blown calls by pac-10 officials that go both for and against USC…

USC losing makes me so happy. Seriously, if you’re on that team, even as a back-up, you are probably better than UW’s starting lineup. Sooo beautiful.

Bad day for the Mountain West… BYU’s in trouble against Florida State.

Locker might be the best QB in the Pac-10.

At least this confirms that washington is a lot better team than people gave them credit for. They will almost certainly make a bowl this year.

They’ve had good recruiting classes the past few years including a couple players that USC offered…they went 0-12 cause the team just gave up on willingham…

Sure hope it’s more serious than what I just read… “sore shoulder.” If that’s all it is, then he should have been playing. If it’s RTC, labrum, AC sprain, etc ok. But if it’s “sore…”

USC sucks…

the Bears will be Pac-10 champs this year.

Always glad to see cheaters losing. As much as I hate Penn State, they recruit and win legitimately.

Definitely a lot better than what chaoses gave them credit for…so much for “automatic win”. But then Maryland is worse than I thought.

Cal is still whooping azz

Washington certainly shouldn’t be ranked though… that’s ridiculous.

I guess beating the previous #3 doesn’t mean much these days…

But seriously, it’s the third week. Rankings are always so volatile early in the season and shouldn’t be stressed over too much.

Washington is 2-1 after playing one of the toughest opening schedules in the country…

And talk about Pac-10 strength… ALL of the teams in the pac-10 are .500 or better out of conference, and 7 are above .500, so far this season, despite the pac-10 playing the toughest nonconference schedule out of any conference. 9 teams have a winning record overall.

Unofficial word was that it is a bone bruise, and that Barkley could hardly get any velocity on his throws. All the major injured starters (at QB, 2 RB, FS, DE, CB, and WR) should be healed up by the Cal game, though.

dammit…I’m just hoping we get through noisy Autzen next Saturday undefeated.

It was kind of ironic to see the Pac-10 standings this early in the season with Stanford and Washington sitting on top and USC down with Wazzu at the bottom.

I for one can only hope there’s no more injuries to the secondary…what I called earlier in this thread as one of the country’s best secondaries, had been decimated with Taylor Mays hurt, his replacement injured, the starting CB academically ineligible, the backup CB hurt and not even making the trip…

What I am most excited to see (hopefully next saturday) is Mitch Mustain punt. Apparently he has a pretty good leg, and considering how absurdly bad USC’s special teams have been in the first 3 games, desperately needed.

The examples of washington and washington state being bad last year were to prove that the pac-10 is not always at a disadvantage, even in term of bowl eligibility. You can replace them with any team you want, those were examples. Now, I was just basing on stats from last year to say that they were bad. I also did say Washington will play a very close game with USC and the result might not be what many people thought. When you went 0-12, you will definitely do better the following year. Just don’t get into the hype of washington yet.

now, I don’t even know why you brought Maryland into the discussion of Pac-10 disadvantage. Maybe you just went around to read my posts and found out where I went to school. Would it make you feel better if I went to Idaho or USC?
