or are you super-glad it's over?

i personally don't miss it much,
except for the multiple choice tests,
and the math competitions
i mean seriously,
it's so nice not having to worry about getting into college anymore.

I miss it every day. I cry myself to sleep just thinking about lockers and school buses. I take out my yearbooks every day just to scan the pictures and read senior year quotes. On occasion, I drive to my school and just sit in the parking lot - watching the kids go from class to class. Other times I wander the hallways just to sniff the air and listen for the bell at the end of each period. Oh how I miss the days of lunch period!

the main thing that i miss is wearing only a hoody in -10 degree weather because once you DROVE to school, you would only have to walk 10 feet to the door. I actually had to buy a coat in college, WHOA!

Being in class from 8 to 3:30?

No thanks.

Towards the end of the school year I made a list of everything I hate about it, so that I don’t miss it when I graduate and it worked…

My high school didn’t have many redeeming qualities that would cause one to miss it.

You have to miss things like playing for sports teams. Obviously most aren’t going to be good enough to play Division I sports. Intramural leagues are nowhere close to the same as practicing everyday, representing your school in front of a thousand or so fans.

Have to miss the just general fun of being around the same people so much that you make class time into chill time. Kicking it in the parking lot after school, and all the fun times skipping.

But definitely don’t miss having to get up before 6 AM, or being in school for 8 hours a day.

It’s one of those mixed things. Don’t really miss it, as it is a part of your life, and you move on. But it was definitely a good time. Have to just make all the phases of your life enjoyable.

I miss never studying and getting an A easy, and not doing 3 all nighters in a week for projects/finals.

I feel like I have to push myself much more to get into graduate school.

Though, frankly the academic setting of college life is 100% better. Studying conditions are varied and much better than just being at home (there’re crazy libraries, faculty themselves – great resources), and there’s more going on in terms of academics.

The one thing I think I miss about high school is that a large portion of those who took many AP and honors classes knew each other. It was rather nice to have that kind of cameraderie. In college, most of my friends were either met through another select group of friends or are in my major.

no way, jose

the people who miss high school

are the people i was not friends with. haha

I miss a lot of the people from my high school that I don’t get to see much anymore. I also miss not having homework and barely doing anything in school. Senior year was such a joke.

I don’t miss school starting at 7:45 every morning or being there for 7 hours.

Not at all. I hated my high school.

I miss elementary school way more.
I had it made…

No I don’t miss it. I hated who I was in high school so it’s not something I enjoy looking back on.

lol

what???

Seconded. I’m surprised anyone who knew me in high school actually liked me or didn’t treat me like I was pathetic. Looking back at it all, I brought every damn problem on myself lol.

hell no High school was where at least half of the kids were tools, and after you graduated, the tools were filtered into Community College, and the Normal, smart kids with futures went to college to get wasteeedd without regret, and be successful at the same time. So what is there to miss about high school? absolutely nothing other than the part of looking forward to the new frontier of college lol

The only thing I miss about high school is the fact that I didn’t have to pay for it. Yep that’s it.

I miss everything about high school except for the hours and the class schedules (pretty much everything academic). Especially when talking to HS friends online and actually trying to figure out when we are free enough hang out for the third time in two years, after having seen them everyday for four.
