As the year winds down, I've found myself thinking more and more of my time in high school. I really miss all the homecoming festivities; the assemblies and theme days, and skits. I miss seeing my friends every day, and screwing around in class. I miss laying out on the track instead of practicing our rundowns for javelin. Bus rides to meets. Coming home every day to a good meal was pretty good too.

I mean yeah, the actual going to class for 8hrs was pretty awful, but high school was more than just classes and whiteboards. Its not that college isn't fun, its just.... less innocent and care free, and I kind of miss it.

Just wondering if this is a pretty common feeling.

I do not start this feeling yet, but I now I will have this feeling when I reach that moment. we are definitely going to miss everything happened in high school even the things we hate before.

I think the reason we miss our high school life so badly is because we already used to the schedule and life in high school, but when we go to college this will be a new start, and everything is new to us. We are afraid of new things which we do not know what is going to happen. because we fear about new things, we miss the high school

I don’t actually. When I do reminisce on high school, I usually just imagine what it would be like to focus more on my grades. That’s about it. Even with the new found freedom once in college, depending on the student, you still feel restricted in some way…but I digress. Just depends on the person.

I miss not having to study for tests.
