Yeah. I'm only a sophomore, but my classes are locked as it is for next year, so I thought, why not?

Okay. I live in California, and I heard that the state schools tend to prefer those students that are residents of CA, so there's that.

I'm also currently in the top 11% of my class (out of 650) and I have a 3.71 GPA, also, I'm several grades ahead in math than some in my grade (at most, it's 3 years). At my school we have six classes a year, with an optional 7th, so here's what I've had so far:

~Freshman~
PE/Dance
Health/Computers
French 1 (we have no honors, and it ticks me off)
Honors English 1
Honors Biology
Algebra 2

~Sophomore~
Honors World History
Drawing and Painting
French 2
Honors English 2
Chemistry (we have no honors, because it's honors-level curriculum)
PE/Dance
Finite Math/Trigonometry (because even though I'm well off, there's no way I'm doing Pre-Calculus)

And this is what I'm planning for next year:

~Junior~
Digital Animation
AP Studio Art
AP English Comp
Honors Physics (it's weighted! :3)
AP Statistics
AP US History

And then I'm taking some college classes next year as a special admit:

Ballet
Intermediate Jazz
French 2 (Not because I failed, but because Conversational French requires 3 years of high school French, and I can't really fit that in.)
Graphic Design
Freehand drawing

(It's basically what I can't fit into my schedule at school.)

Aside from that, I'm a French tutor, since other than the teacher, I'm the only one in my level fluent enough to explain it. (There are some French 3 and 4 students that can speak it too, but they're all too busy with testing to bother.) I also help out my church with the local junior high schoolers and spread my experience with my faith. I'm also a fairly competent dancer, I've been dancing ballet since I was 7, but money problems made me go on and off on my lessons. I also planning on participating as my school newspaper's cartoonist, and then eventually joining my school's ASB (Student council) as their advertiser.

(And trolls, I get it, my ECs suck, but I really don't have time to do anything else than that.)

As you can hopefully tell, I'm trying to get an art degree...

Here are my colleges that I'm sure I'm going to apply to: [1=highest interest--3=lowest]

UCSB [1]
SDSU [1]
CalArts [1]
Cal Poly Pomona (Engineering school, but it's got a nice art program) [2]
CSUF [3]
CSULB [2]

And then community college is my safety.

Everyone says I'm a shoo-in for some of those, but I'm trying not to get excited, so I'm trying to study really hard to break 1870 (my brother's score) and try and reach at least 2200. But with my GPA and the school I come from, most students from my high school are accepted. (And that is the only thing keeping me sane X3)

I know I could probably do more, but the way things are going, I'm trying to make sure I don't become a shut-in. If you've got more ideas to help me do more, then thanks. So far, all I've done for the ECs is probably try out for Jeopardy, and I don't know if I've made it until next year, so just tell me your idea if it's a good idea.
