College midterms for transfer--uh oh

<p>Are midterms supposed to be some kind of official documentation, like they were in high school? Because I'm 100% certain that my CC doesn't produce midterm grades. The teachers send in the entire quarter's grades to the school after the finals and that's that. </p>

<p>Or are midterm grades more like individual teachers filling out a form?</p>

<p>The only grades that are taken seriously are those on official transcripts. That’s true for high schools, as well as colleges.</p>

<p>The Common App midterm report lets the professors fill out a form, and it seems very casual.</p>
