College Name Spelled Wrong In Essay

So I applied to Worcester State University as a transfer and soon after I sent it I realized my computer was autocorrecting Worcester to Worchester. I emailed them about it. Will I get rejected now? I said it like 15 times and it autocorrected it every time! :(

They’re probably used to it.

I doubt they’ll reject you solely because of that. How hard are admissions at this school?

70% I sent them a email explaining they seemed they understood when I called they told me if I email they can fix it

70% acceptance rate, they won’t reject you for that.

I mean I am a close call as it is I have 2.6 college gpa and I have average say scores. However I am involved in 5 different clubs and a online magazine and I also hold a part time job. So I am hoping that helps!

I think people usually forgive one thing like that. They can relate. It is when there are more than one error like that that people start thinking you don’t care or are sloppy.

I remember an earnest BYU guy who in retrospect may never have drunk alcohol before drinking at an interview dinner and throwing up in the hiring partner’s lap. He still got the offer. This doesn’t rise to that level, I don’t think.

I applied to Rice and spelled “Texas” as “Taxes” LOL

At least you didn’t type in “Belwa”.
