Today I was put into the Division of General Studies instead of business. I have two questions regarding this.
1.) What are the chances that they accept more applicants to business later on if more kids deny to come to UIUC than expected?
2) Also, which denied group of business students have the best chance of being accepted if they do so? Those who decided to accept DGS? Those who denied DGS? Or those who haven’t made a decision about joining DGS?

I’m not sure anyone on this message board would be able to answer your questions. However, I will give you some hope. My DD is in the CoB and knows students who were able to transfer into business from DGS. They took the right classes, got strong grades and became involved on campus. It can be done.

P.S. You may want to call the university and see if someone in the CoB can give you some direction.
