Furman

Clemson

College Of Charleston

USC

You have listed four totally different colleges with four different environments and focuses. International business, state capital resourses, something for everyone, large campus, etc: USC. Solid private LAC experience on a more isolated campus: Furman, Solid public LAC right in the middle of a lively city (distractions galore): CofC. Engineering/hard sciences at a football crazy, middle of nowhere town: Clemson. I do not see how you can, in anyway, rank these schools. They each offer something unique. What kind of environment is best for you?

I mean, I didn’t ask for what they are good at or what you think I would like better. I am just wondering what is generally known as the best and worst.

you can achieve whatever you want at any of these schools. If I had to rank them:

for technical/engineering majors:

Clemson
South Carolina

For poli sci, English, history, chem, biology:

Furman
CofC
SC
Clemson

For business:

SC
Furman
CofC
Clemson

dam… so which is best for political science or journalism? charleston?

poli sci = Furman

journalism = South Carolina

I would pick College Of Charleston for liberal arts (political science, journalism) since it’s in a great city and it’s very affordable (and much better than USC)

cofc is what im thinking… i like the town alot
