College of Letter and Science

Is it harder to get admitted into L&S than it is to get into other schools/colleges (that are part of UCB)?

It’s suppose to be easier.

They are all pretty much very similar with the only difference being the college of engineering tends to be significantly harder to get admitted than other colleges.

Does UCB look at regular weighted GPA and upward trends in grades? Also, does it look at all of your SAT II scores (aside from the top 2)? I went from straight As in honors freshman year to a slump in sophomore year to a 4.3/4.4 GPA junior year…

Are my chances slim? Should I… just… surrender my hope? I feel so hopeless after being rejected by UCLA.

Don’t give up.

BUMPP. Can someone from Berkeley please chance me?

I think you are kind of a toss up in my opinion. Like I wouldn’t be surprised if you got rejected or accepted.

i think ur good. good sat’s.

Just a question: Does UCB look at regular weighted AND UC GPAs? I know I ask a lot of questions but I’m just really nervous, since Berkeley emphasizes a lot on GPA. Toss-up meaning… I’m neither a really strong candidate nor a really weak one? So, that puts me in the middle, right?

You might be in the middle because of your GPA

i dont know mcuh about the programs, but College of Letter and Science?
Letter…??? Is there such a thing lol.
i think u’re in the middle of admit/rej as well, because ur gpa is kinda below avg.
good luck  to all of us

You have a shot yummymango, but GPA is certainly a bigger factor than SAT’s for the admissions process =\ I hope for the best for you.
