I plan on majoring in Physics and doing the 3-2 Columbia engineering program. I visited and loved both schools. COTHC would be slightly more expensive but money isn’t the biggest factor since I got pretty good deals at both schools. I’ve heard that COTHC has better STEM programs but the honors program at Fordham looks really special. I really just can’t make up my mind. Anything helps!
i visited HC and thought it was really depressing. In the middle of nowhere by a freeway? and basically just a bunch of parking lots and cement buildings. just me but I would choose fordham
^^^ Your description is interesting.
Here’s another perspective from Travel & Leisure, which just named it the most beautiful college campus in Massachusetts!

As someone who lives not far from Holy Cross…I really don’t know how they came up with that. It’s a nice enough campus…but more beautiful than say Wellesley, or Williams or even Amherst…I just don’t see it.
^^^ There are a lot of beautiful campuses in MA, but HC is pretty special in that regard.
Lendedu also names them prettiest schools in MA
Here are some gorgeous looks at the campus

Williams and Amherst and Wellesley are all great campuses, but they’re no great shakes visually, IMO. The majesty of the Fenwick/O’Kane/Smith complex, the library, the meticulous attention to landscaping (lacking at Williams and Amherst I’d say) do put HC in a special class of beautiful campuses. The rapidly evolving upper campus, with a dramatically enhanced athletics center and brand new big Center for the Arts will enhance the overall experience too. Hill dorms and Campus Center could use an update - maybe that’s next (Field House is in motion to a big upgrade too - it’s time).
Fordham’s honors program is pretty special. I don’t know about RH, but the LC honors program has about a 2% acceptance rate. It’s very selective. The program itself isn’t something I’m super familiar with at Rose Hill, but I know a lot of people that really like it.
