I was just wondering...who do you CC folks support for president and why?

Personally, I'm 101% for Barack Obama. I think he's incredibly intelligent and innovative and separate enough from the world of Washington politics to actually make a difference. I was ELATED to hear he won so decisively in Iowa!!!

Obama Everyone is complaining about how he has no experience but I think being in Washington for too long will mess up your morals anyway so..... I am totally anti republican but i do think that Mike Huckabee is funny, even though that really doesn't matter.

Mr. Barack Obama, of course. Our country needs true change, and not from the Self-proclaimed revolutionary Ron Paul, who wants to destroy all the civillization that our world has built in the past 200 years, and return us directly to 1776 and all the chaos the world and our country was in at the time. Ron Paul is my personal archenemy in terms of ideas, even though he's the candidate I have the most respect for in terms of personal strength - I've never seen such a charismatic, truly inspiring candidate in history. If I wasn't telling myself to reason through his rhetoric and see the flaws behind his issues, I'd be a Paulite too. He has amazing, almost uninmaginable, skill in speech and rhetoric.

Hil scares children and edwards is a pretty boy. Obama, somewhat by default but after reading "audacity of hope" Ive decided that he can intelligently convey thoughts and ideas and I like how he keeps coming back to the point that Americans for the most part have the same fundamental values and those values need to be the focus, instead of the menial differences between republicans and democrats.

^^ I know that. But out of those who are running, I don't like ANY of the conservatives [Guilani isn't really conservative], and as for the Democrats, those are the only three who have any chance of being the nominee.

If a good third party candidate becomes available, I'll look into him/her.

Barack Obama. Even just by seeing and hearing him speak you can tell he's a different breed. He's young, is experienced but not corrupted, and is probably the most articulate President in, well, eight years, at least!

If I had to choose a Republican, I'd choose Ron Paul, because he somewhat closely represents my libertarian views, but he's still too socially conservative.

Doesn't matter a bit, though. Won't be able to vote :)
