College Restricted Courses?

Does anyone know whether I can, as a Chemistry major(college of letters and science), take ECH 140 and ECH 152A?
If so, is there priority enrollment for college of engineer students? And what are the odds of getting in?

I got in as my alternate major and want to change back to chem engineering in the winter, but missing out on those classes would put me back an entire year since they’re only offered in the fall.
The fact that there only seems to be 1 152A class also worries me as my odds look slim.

Based on Sisweb, neither of those classes give priority to majors. So anyone can sign up, but you’d be registering later than current students. I don’t know how popular these classes are or how waitlisting would be, but it doesn’t hurt to waitlist (assuming you meet the prereqs). If you do end up waitlisted for either of those, contact the professor and explain the situation; they may be able to help, and you won’t know unless you ask.
