I have been asked by 2 people to be roommates but I just reply with a "We'll see what happens." What is the best way to find a good roommate?

If it's your friends, stop by unexpectedly to check their room out. If it looks like ****....

haha that's a good one

That's actually a good idea. Look around the room and see if they are clean and smell good. If not then...

Also make sure their sleeping habits are close to yours.

I just hope I get an OK roommate

If you get a sucky roommate, you switch. No big deal. You’ll be fine.

Switching takes a semester though.

Depends on the school you go to, Status. At my school, there’s 2-3 week housing freeze at the beginning of the semester, and after that you can apply for room changes.

^Same deal here, they allow kids to switch mid-semester for compelling reasons.
