College student nutritional habits?

First off I'll tell you guys about myself: I am a senior in high school in Myrtle Beach, South Carolina. I plan on attending the College of Charleston this upcoming fall. I attend an "academy" school where I study a specific major. In my case my major is Pre-Medicine and I have a "mastery" or otherwise known as a big project focusing on one topic.

My topic is the nutritional habits of college students and what can be done to change these habits.

I was going to make a poll for everyone to put their answers but I am new to this site and I have no idea if i can even make a poll. Any help would be greatly appreciated

You could ask everyone to write out all of what they ate today. For instance, so far I’ve had:

Breakfast - Powerade
Lunch - Turkey burger and fries, and an ice cream cone
For Dinner I’ll probably have a smoothie and a protein bar

Very bad nutrition, I know!

Breakfast–Off-brand lucky charms (always cereal for breakfast), milk, orange juice

Lunch–banana, peanut butter and jelly sandwich, yogurt, some strawberries, maybe something else (granola bar, fruit, nuts, fruit snacks). (sandwich and fruit and a few things of extra stuff almost every day)

Dinner–going to eat some free Qdoba

And a bit of candy/raisins/nuts/honey for snack

I usually have some spaghetti and meatballs or chicken and a salad for dinner. And milk. Sometimes a sub, sometimes random other food, sometimes a dessert

Counting eating out and free food at meetings, I eat dinner outside of the dining hall once or twice a week, usually the least healthy meals of the week (pizza)

Breakfast - rarely eat breakfast. Either wake up at 7:00, roll around a little bit, then rush off to my 8 AM class or don’t wake up until 11 am … in which case I have lunch.

Lunch - banana, apple, a cucumber, trail mix, today
Usually a premade sandwich from the market and some fruit salad
Or a regular full-sized salad.
and coffee or high-caffeine tea. ^^;

Dinner - probably grab a premade sandwich or salad from the market or soup or microwave meals.

I have pretty irregular eating habits. I know my friends just tend to grab fries and a hamburger or a slice of pizza, etc. Whatever it is, it’s always something that can be quickly scarfed down on the go. Fruits & veggies are expensive (and so is meat). Lots of cereal, granola bars, etc.

I cook over weekends, but don’t regularly have time during the week. I know this isn’t nutrition, but I also work out an 1-1.5 hours a day.

Today’s food:
Breakfast: pb&j w/blueberry yogurt
Lunch: 1 slice pizza, wild rice, carrots, green beans, & 3 sugar cookies
Dinner: Falafel sandwich & Dr. Pepper

also copious amounts of water throughout the day.

Ugh, just looking back at this makes me feel terrible.

Breakfast
16 oz of Floridian Orange Juice
2 Packets of Oatmeal with Brown Sugar in Milk
Whey Protein Shake in Milk
Wheat Bread
Multivitamin

Lunch
Double Turkey Burger on Wheat Bread
6 oz of spaghetti
24 oz of Concord Grape Juice

Dinner
Baked Red Snapper or Seared Albacore Tuna Medium Well
Yellow Rice
Shrimp
Multivitamin

Snacks During the Day:
Salty foods, a box of pizza, a bag of candy, Vanilla coke, or something with complex carbs

Post-workout
120 grams of carbs, creatine, whey protein shake in milk

Never accept a drink or food from someone you don’t know, and take your drink with you when you are at a buffet. It is too easy for a rival or a random psychotic to try to poison your drink.

I once knew a great singer, the competition put something in her drink to make her voice raspy before a big event.

When in doubt, get a sample of the drink to your team of private investigators for analysis at the lab.
