<p>Could you switch to CNAS if you are in CHASS? I'm a first year. I am currently in sociology and want to go undeclared. Do I have to file a petition to go undeclared or just dont do anything until I switch to CNAS?</p>
<p>The best way to find out is talk to your advisor in CHASS about it as well, set up a meeting with one of the advisors in CNAS. They should set you on the right path about changing majors. You may have to take certain classes and have a certain grade before you can petition and then CNAS will decide. I’m not sure on the details but this is what I know from a friend who switched from CNAS to BCOE, so there may be some differences. I don’t think it’s impossible but it’ll take work. good luck!</p>
