Hi, I am currently attending a local community college and about to start my second year. I am planning on transferring next year for Fall 2012. I currently have a 3.25 but after my summer class I think my GPA will drop to 3.13 :/ By Spring 2012, my gpa should rise again to 3.3. I plan on applying to UC Santa Barbara, UC Irvine, UC San Diego, UC Davis, CSU Long Beach, San Diego State, Loyola Marymount, and University of San Diego. In high school, I was an honors/AP student with a 3.8 gpa. I also did volunteer work and sports all throughout high school. I've been working since I was 15 and currently work at Bank of America as a teller. I don't know if the extracurriculars help at all as a transfer student but do any of you think I have a chance of acceptance at least in the CSU's? I'm asking those of you who are attending these schools or have been accepted.

people should be better equipped to help you here:
