I am currently a college sophomore at Kent State University in Ohio. I have a 3.9 GPA and majoring in economics with plenty of math and statistics background. After graduating I want to go to a top level grad school for my MBA or continue in economics (still deciding on which I want to do). I know that Kent State is an average no name public school. So I was wondering if I should transfer to somewhere like Ohio State (who has a respectable economics program) and lose the grades that I have worked hard at, or should I stay at Kent State and finish my degree? Will graduating from a Kent State extremely hinder my chances of getting into a top level grad school?

I think your post bachelor's prospects will depend a lot more on what you do at Kent State, how you do at Kent State than on the difference between the school name "Ohio" State vs. "Kent" State. I wouldn't consider transferring just to change the name on your degree.
