<p>My D has successfully submitted her common ap to 5 schools. One reports having everything no problem. So far two have the application but no letters of recommendation or school report even though the dashboard says they have been assigned and submitted! I am waiting to hear from remaining two schools. The schools are implying the problem is on our end though the dashboard shows everything has been submitted have green check marks etc. Has anyone else had this problem? Any ideas what to do? We have tickets in to common app but no response yet.</p>
<p>Contact the college. This might not be a common app problem. It’s possible the college’s system has separate entries for recs and school reports that arrive by mail, but since yours were electronically included with the app they aren’t reported in those categories.</p>
<p>It means the school has not downloaded the school report or recommendation yet. Many schools do not download data from CA everyday (sometimes over a week between download). Also, they may only download certain part each time (e.g. main application, school reports, etc). Even they have downloaded the data, it may take days to update their database. My D submitted 3 apps on CA, one showed updated info on tracking but the supplement file was corrupted. One school take a little bit over 1 week to download after each item submission. One take more than a week to download school report and teacher recommendation and they did that separately. And yet, they have not updated their database 3 days after download. I guess these happen very often and we just need to follow up with each application closely.</p>
<p>My D has the same problem. In CA it shows that the School report was downloaded on 10/13 while the teacher evaluation was downloaded on 10/16.</p>
<p>But the college portal shows having the teacher recommendation and not the secondary school report even though CA shows that being downloaded few days earlier.</p>
<p>Admissions page says not to contact them and that they can’t verify individual applicants file, but that they will let the student know if anything missing in file 2 weeks after the deadline.</p>
<p>This is very stressful as we have no idea where the problem is… college side or CA side.</p>
<p>I have emailed and gotten a live person at the colleges in questions (sm. LAC colleges). They say they have ap but no recs or school report. I querried the CA people they say if it says submitted the material is ready for download. This implies the problem is on the colleges end. I don’t know quite what to do. I am not sure if the recommenders and the counselor have a pdf file like we do for submitted aps so that they could just print out what they submitted and we could email or snail mail. I sure hate to ask them to do anything else. All found submitting material to be very time consuming.</p>
<p>Did this issue get resolved? I am facing it now as two schools show that they received app and transcript, but not my recommendations and school report.</p>
