Colleges in the South...

<p>FYI...nothing earth shattering here, just an online guidebook that might be of some value to parents and students...</p>

<p>My son spent his freshman year at one of those schools. What they say in their materials is so not true. He has moderately fond memories of his year there. I hate the school.</p>

I’m happy to see a resource for those interested in southern LACs. One hears endlessly on CC about the “underrated” and “hidden” Midwestern LACs, but southern LACs get very little love. </p>

<p>The descriptions of Davidson and Rhodes seem spot on, and the others were interesting reads. It’d be nice if some of these reviews were a little <em>less</em> positive, though; it’s difficult to ferret out what isn’t so good about colleges, and no college is perfect. </p>
