Colleges missing from IDOC Request

If colleges that required CSS are not listed on the IDOC request page to which I was directed, does that mean they do not need anything else? Will they request information later? Does it really have nothing to do with acceptance at this point?

Some of the schools have you send the documents to them directly rather than through IDOC. You need to check each school’s website for instructions.

Only a dozen or so schools requires IDOC. Other schools may use FAFSA data for verification or they can always request additional document from you directly for verification if needed.

@vaboots‌ Call IDOC and verify with them. I noticed four of my schools were missing, but were still working on sending an IDOC request, that is why some IDOC requiring schools are not showing up

Far more than a dozen schools in the US require IDOC. I think 4 of the 5 D2 applied to for FA 2 years ago required it. I can’t say what the percentage is if you look at all US colleges, but the actual number is far more than a dozen. That said, there are definitely schools that don’t require it.

Here is the list from the College Board of Profile Schools… 70 colleges or so use IDOC. The best thing to do is check your college website. It will be listed on the financial aid application page.
