Colleges recalculating UW GPA

I know that a lot of colleges don't really take your electives into account when recalculating your GPA, so basically it's left to your core curriculum. But since I go to a private Catholic school, our core curriculum includes theology. Will colleges, especially non-affiliated ones, still take my theology classes into account for my GPA?

If the college recalculates, it is likely to take what the college defines as the high school academic college prep curriculum, not what the high school defines it as. The definition may not be the same at every college.

Indeed, it depends on the individual school. I know the UMass system only calculates college prep-level+ courses in the 5 core humanities subjects, and use their own weighting.
