Colleges Sending More than Just Acceptance Letters (Fort Worth Star-Telegram)

Man, when I got accepted to Ithaca, my acceptance letter was on carbon paper. It was the thinner than my rejection letters.

My other acceptance came in the form of a phone call from the director of admissions. Then a couple of days later a copy of The Iliad with a more formal letter.

What?! I didn’t get one… :frowning:
RPI must have viewed overseas fare as too expensive (or got wind that it was my safety…)

Cornell is sending me a T-shirt and a decal. That was one of my favorite parts of the acceptance letter.

A copy of the Iliad? That’s awesome. Illinois sent me a decal sticker for engineering and the USC admissions packet was really nicely made.

i got decals from UCLA and UCBerkeley. I also got a decal, a beautiful calendar, and a hand-written note from the Dean of Admissions from Colgate. Bookmark from Bates and a video from Colby…

As sfeely7 mentioned, Cornell offered free T-shirts on the admitted students website. I went ahead and snagged one. <3

^Free Cornell t-shirt!!! First thing I wear when I get back to school from break…

none of my schools sent me anything!
other than pamphlets and crap,
i want a tshirt!
im prob going to just buy one online tho from columbia!
accepted to columbia!

D got dacals from Miami and Northeastern, a long-sleeve t-shirt from Ithaca (Park School) and a scarf from Indiana.

I wish Tufts was giving gifts :frowning: (although an acceptance was more than enough for me <3)

How come i didn’t get one!
