I have have found posts regarding universities/colleges that have a music business major or similar, but I am looking for a college that specializes in music business/management, etc.

I have almost completed my 'traditional' 4-year degree, majoring in literature and Spanish (originally planning to go to law school), but I realised about a year ago that I really want to work in the music industry. I specifically want to be a tour manager, but right now I'm looking for the best place to study music business.

I'm having trouble finding any outside reports or rankings online that could really give me an idea as to what the top schools in this area are. A friend of mine suggested Full Sail and I have another friend who really likes the Atlanta Institute of Music. Any other suggestions or advice?

Thank you!!!

NYU Steinhardt has a graduate music business program.

I'm not sure if I would qualify for a graduate degree program considering my degrees are irrelevant to both music and business. I will have to look into that though.

Five Towns College on Long Island?
Columbia College in Chicago?
UGeorgia's certificate program?

New York University Stern School of Business
they have a media management program
good name school in the heart of it all- cant go wrong

Hey this is actually the only reason I'm considering MTSU. Careers in Music Industry Schools, Music Business, Production and Technology, Songwriting

They are top notch, rated in the top ten music production and music business colleges by rolling stone. Take both interns while you're there (production and business) and you'll have your pick of several jobs in the industry. There's a lot of directions you can go to. I know one girl who worked for a financial company that managed the finances for a bunch of top artists. She made a lot of contacts and made bank!
