<p>Hello Everyone, </p>
<p>I am currently auditioning for a bunch of programs(CCM,CMU,BoCo,Ithaca,OCU, Montclaire, Pace) for musical theatre and acting but I am not in a position where I can afford to travel anymore than my unified audition and the trip I have already planned to NYC for the other schools. Does anybody know of any schools that offer BFA's that are auditioning regionally in Florida. </p>

<p>BoCo has a Miami audition, I believe Emerson may have one. Then, of course, UMiami, UCF, and FSU will have auditions in Florida. Some schools have auditions in Atlanta, so if you are in northern Florida that might be more convenient and affordable :)</p>
<p>CMU and CCM both have auditions in Atlanta as well. NYU Tisch comes to Miami also.</p>
<p>Uarts has come to Fort lauderdale the past several years in February.</p>
<p>Thanks for all the help. I dont see anything about a CMU audition in Atlanta. Am I missing something. Yeah I live close enough to atlanta that all schools that audition there are close enough to travel.</p>
<p>CMU does not, to my knowledge, audition in Atlanta. I think that if you go to the Department of Drama website, it says they audition in Pittsburgh (obviously), New York, Chicago and Los Angeles.</p>
<p>Just FYI, my D received an email today from CCM that says, “Due to the extreme number of applicants this year to the musical theatre program, and the fact that all audition slots are full, the program is now closed.”</p>
<p>Wow! That seems extreme.</p>
<p>I have already confirmed my auditions for Boco, CMU in pittsburgh(I was inquiring about the Atlanta audition because I would change that one if I had the chance to audition closer) and I got my preliminary confrimation for CCM on Tuesday for my Atlanta audition and have been in contact with admissions and havent heard anything about the slots being full or them canceling my confirmation so I assume that I made the deadline. I am mainly looking for some smaller or less competitive schools that are not on my list to give me more options and more opportunities to show off my goods 
i am looking int the ones above but would still appreciate some info on schools who audition in the florida-georgia-south east area. </p>
