Colleges with openings?

Isn’t today the day a list is published of colleges which still have fall openings? There are always many good schools on the list providing fine options. Anyone know where to find it? Some friends are still undecided on their choices.

The NACAC list won’t be out for a couple of days. I am sure someone will post the link.

The front page of the NACAC website says that the list is ‘coming May 3’

Meanwhile, U Alabama, UAH, Pitt and Rutgers have never closed their apps AFAIK, in case any of those are of interest @roycroftmom

@Mwfan1921 interesting about Pitt. We know someone who found out yesterday that they were accepted to…Pitt.

What took them so long?

When did they apply @thumper1? It seems at some point in late fall Pitt was inundated with apps and got behind, but then never seemed to even close their app. Not really sure where they stand now, but their own application still looks open even today.

The list will be very very long

^^^Yes, last year it got to over 500 schools. But, many typically aren’t offering financial aid.

Pitt and penn state also accept for their regional campuses so it might not be for the main campus

500?? Wow, I had no idea it was so large. Well, lots of good options for some then!

^^Yes, but that included schools with openings for transfers only. Suffice it to say there will be some schools on the list that many CC’ers have never heard of!

@Mwfan1921 Yes, but there are also some excellent schools on the list every year. Most of the schools on these lists have freshman openings, and many say they have financial aid and on-campus housing available.

Every year Penn State is on the list, with the main campus address noted, but I think most of PSU’s openings are for branch campuses (same application for UP and branches).

@kidzncatz spoke to admissions this year university park received 100k applications after joining the common app. They admission team said that they are at capacity. Business and engineering closed early.
