Not in that tier but Ohio University
Temple, Catholic U of America
@lvvcsf OSU is also on common app.
The UC schools, UT Austin.
Ohio University not Ohio State University. I don’t believe OU is on the Common App. They require you to create an Apply Web account to use their on line application.
Georgetown has their own portal
There are around 700 schools which use the Common App. There are over 4,000 colleges/universities in the US, so the vast majority do not use the Common App. Those who do not use the Common App will have some other method for applying.
And those who do use the Common App generally have their own application as well; at least, all of the ones we looked at seriously do. (We didn’t use the Common App at all.)
Pitt, CO School of Mines, ASU
Some groups of schools have their own “common” applications (not The Common Application). Examples:
Many public and private schools in Texas: https://www.applytexas.org/adappc/gen/c_start.WBX
Universities of California: https://admissions.universityofcalifornia.edu/applicant/login.htm
California State Universities: http://www.csumentor.edu/admissionapp/
I don’t understand why some schools still don’t use the common app. It makes things 1000 times harder for everyone, including school counselors who have to send everything seperatly.
The Common Application does not necessarily fit well with some colleges’ admission criteria and processes.
