<p>my dad went to cc and mom went to barnard, grandparents went to nyu, which of these city schools should i apply to ed ( i wont base this on my final decision..just want to hear opinions). my school doesnt rank but i take most demanding courses, in very select statewide orchestras, playing violin since 7 years old, founded a community service club at school where students play instruments at nursing home, science club, particpiate in science olympiads, co ran a summer reading program, 2 years being a camp counselor, junior statesmen of america summer school, by end of high school-7 ap's, varsity tennis team 3 years (1 year jv captain), ranked player on east coast......thanks</p>

<p>You're competitive at all of the top colleges. If you're dying to attend college in NYC, you might well apply to Columbia ED. Unless NYU does some major yield-protection, you should easily get in there.</p>
<p>You're getting into NYU and Barnard RD 100% anyway, so try Columbia ED. No brainer.</p>
