Hello, I'm a GS student ( with aspergers obviously ) trying to start a Aspergers Support Group for aspie students in Columbia University. I was wondering what people think of this idea-- like would there even be students who would want to join such a support group? Let me know what you guys think. If there really is a demand for such a group, I will definitely form one.

Hi!

My name is Christina and I’m also a current student at GS as well as a tour guide. I saw your message about starting an Asperger’s group at GS. If you haven’t already, and if you feel comfortable doing so, maybe you could try posing your question to the unofficial School of General Studies Facebook page ( https://www.facebook.com/groups/213775568723534/ ). Another option would be to reach out to CPS/Health Services and see if they have any advice or ideas, because I know they offer a number of small group workshops throughout the year.

I am only suggesting these ideas because I don’t think many current students follow this forum, and it seems like an idea that other students might be interested in. I’m just afraid no one will see your message here.

Good luck!
