Following is the list of the notification dates of the previous 5 years:
2010 - 12/9 Thursday
2011 - 12/8 Thursday
2012 - 12/6 Thursday
2013 - 12/12 Thursday
2014 - 12/11 Thursday
I strongly believe that the decision notification date is going to be 12/10 Thursday. I hope that this helps you well.

I just got an email for an interview from an alumni in my area! And then I realised she wants to meet me at the exact time my high school graduation takes place (my school year ends in November)… Great.
@galateaxx I mean I’m sure she’d understand and move your appointment around if you told her.

getting really worried that i haven’t gotten an interview yet…anyone else still waiting? Anyone else just received an interview email? I’m from a place where there are many alumni so I am very worried

Also checking in to say no contact about an interview in an area that has had interviews before. Nothing in my email, admission status site, or on my phone.
My son applied ED in mid october and he was contacted for an interview Nov 6. We live in south florida. I was told all candidates get alumni interviews so long as there are alumni in yoiur city. It may have to do with when the application was filed.
I just got an email for interview. Nervous now.
@iagoboy1 I filled out my ED application in Mid October as well and November is halfway gone…Are these interviews assigned randomly or do they choose not to interview those who they don’t think they want anyways (:o)
@BostonBrotha it depends on the availability of a Columbia alumni in your area.
My not receiving an alumni interview thus far has really been stressing me out. :’) Oh well… If there are no alumni, I trust that it won’t affect my application!
