Hey everyone! I did not get a likely letter, but I did get a postcard from Columbia that was an invitation to attend an information session at March 12 and March 19 (for the SciensePo Dual BA Program). Does this even mean anything or did everyone get one? It looks extremely unofficial.
@PaperFlowers - My guess would be that no, it does not mean anything. A rule of thumb for elite college admissions is that nothing but the most direct language means much. I’m not sure though.

I am not sure how they do it for international students but I am an Out of State student and I received my Columbia “LL” via EMAIL.
If i got an email stating that I am likely to be named an Egleston scholar, and they said they would be paying for my flight over during April for the program intro/admit weekend. Does that mean I will definitely be named a scholar?

I don’t think they’ve told the non-Egleston scholars yet (at least no mention here of anything).

@asiankid88 I got an email, but I might get a letter too. US mail usually takes 2 weeks to reach me.
I just got an email from my mentor who wrote my letter of recs, she was at my school today when the college and career center received a letter that I was accepted

Why would they send decisions so early to schools? Was it a likely letter?
