Has anyone received any key or password which can be used to track an application or receive a decision. Any ideas would be great!!!!!

I got my ID in an e-mail, but you can call the office for it if you don't have it.

Is the track application the same as the decision link?

Yeah, does anyone know? Also, are Columbia decisions coming out May 10ish, like last year?

May 15th, by e-mail.

I remember last year when I applied as a HS Senior they said that Decisions were available April 4th, but I found out the same day as Yale/Harvard/Penn--March 29ish. I think it's always a few days sooner than they say.

Not to say that you aren't correct...I live by the admissions office. I walked in and asked around April 15th, and they told me that decisions are released by e-mail on the 15th.

Yeah, so I guess that is the case.

i wonder if they'll fedex decisions haha :o

Soho2 you may be right. Interestingly I was at Columbia all weekend, and I just got back yesterday morning :) I love that place. I lived there over the summer and did research and I miss it a lot. Where do you live?

Another thing--Michigan is my backup school and they want a decision by May 1. Columbia doesn't get back to us until May 15. Do I send in the deposit for Michigan anyway?

Yes...it is similar to the same process for waitlisted students. You could contact Columbia if you had extenuating circumstances (e.g. the deposit is $500+ and you're on financial aid) but if you are willing to lose the deposit to attend CU, then accept the spot at Michigan.

the deposit for Michigan is $200
