Hi,

I just wanted to know if EVERY person who qualifies for HEOP at Columbia receives an interview. And, does not receiving an HEOP interview mean that a person is not being considered for HEOP? Thank you very much!

I didnt get an interview and I think I qualify

i think a heop interview is an almost certain that you are considered and accepted into the HEOP program in columbia.

hey do any of you guys know roughly how many people are accepted in to Columbia through HEOP each year?

Does anyone have any stats (GPA, SAT/ACT) of accepted HEOP students

I don’t know about HEOP at Columbia but my D does HEOP at another private college. They considered 3,000 apps as HEOP “eligible.” They interviewed 30 kids, at which time they gave very short deadlines for missing paperwork. Out of the kids who turned in their stuff on time they offered admission to 18. Though they said they were hoping for 15 admits, they ultimately got a yield of 13. Her SATs were 20 points below the median combined CR and M and her GPA was right on the border of the lowest 25 percentile. It is a wonderful program and we are so very grateful. Good luck!
