Columbia short answers

I'm completing the online app, and I'm having trouble fitting in some of my short answers, especially for the "most meaningful EC" and summer activities. I was just wondering...instead of making these sort of creative, like I have now, should I make them completely straight forward? I know Columbia is very precise about its limits, and I don't know if I should just stick with more content and risk being less creative.

any advice would be greatly appreciated!

i had same problem (i do like to be creative).
afterall, now i am leaning toward more informative answer,
since there isnt enough room for a creative essay.

but still i like to listen to ccer's advices!

just fill it out, and add the rest on the additional pages part at the end

Tell them what and why... I lean towards answering the questions they ask pretty straight-forwardly.

thanks for your help guys. I guess I'll cut out all the excessive creativity parts as well.

chidimma- for the additional pages part, do you think it's ok to split it up into different parts? like instead of just writing a long essay or describing one particular activity, if I make different sections with different activities? also, is there a page limit on the additional information section?

thanks.

hmm i heard you really shouldnt add anything extra if it isnt necessary..u guys should really look back at the old threads ...some of the advice the EDers who got in gave..

It's funny how the limit is like, 225 CHARACTERS
chortle
Yeah just be straightforward. I got a feeling they barely glanced at it.

Yeah, those parts can't mean all that much if they're so brief, can they?

LOL, you would be surprised as those short answers reflect (whether you want it or not) on you personality.

Point taken. I just wish they could have had more space....
