Columbia Transfer Statistics

I am an international applicant with high financial need (almost 85% of total cost of attendance). I have been waitlisted. Columbia has always been my first choice and it still is. But, I do not think I will get accepted from waitlist because of my high financial need.

If not, then I plan to enroll in another college and get transfer to Columbia next year. Can anybody give information about transfer admission statistics. I mean the admission rate. How many applies for transfer and how many are accepted? And, are transfer students provided on-campus housing?
