"Combined: maximum credit, one course"

Hello,

I am in a dilemma. I am taking Pre-Calculus in parts (2 parts), 38A and 38B. I have taken 38A and received 4 units for it. Now I am taking 38B.

I went on ASSIST and went to "UC TRANSFERRABLE COURSES" based on my CC, and it says:

"38A,38B and 39 combined: maximum credit, one course"

39 = Whole Curriculum of Pre-Cal

However when I plug the class into this fake dummy TAG application I have that I use to calculate my GPA/Units it takes it, with a grade already given to 38A.

What does this mean? I am concerned because I am on the brink of 60 Units (59.5) to be exact (from taking a combination of quarter and semester units, and to convert quarter to semester you have to multiple the quarter unit x .667)

Thank you much in advance.

omg i created my own tag dummy and i don’t have a 3.28 i have an ASSIST Certified Course GPA of 3.30 and an overalll GPA (includes calstate la) of 3.25… :open_mouth: yay i thought it would be 3.0! omg

haha thats what i been trying to tell people. I know a lot of people that probably thought they couldn’t TAG, COULD HAVE.

haha.

but blahhh what about kitty’s question!!! :)
