<p>It seems most RD results are already released (JHU, Harvard, Georgetown...etc) and everybody here is still waiting for Rice. Better be worth it <em>shakes fist</em>. Good luck to everyone!</p>
<p>Hopefully we'll get decisions tomorrow or Saturday. I don't really expect to get in after being deferred, but I'll admit there's still a glimmer of hope. Either way, I just want to find out for sure where I'm going next year. :D</p>

I was deferred, and I WANT IN DAMMIT.</p>
<p>I was deferred too (and I didn't even send a letter stating my continued interest, as was "recommended") so I'm not too optimistic.</p>
<p>I applied RD, but I don't think I'm very likely to be accepted. However, it seems like a LOT of Rice applicants are interested in majoring in either some kind of science or architecture. Does anybody know if (historically) it's easier to get into Rice as a history major? Because if it is, then maybe I have a shot. :-)</p>
<p>I'm not sure. I don't think Rice admits by school though.</p>
