So, I took the SAT in March. I arrived early, put my pencils, etc. in my testing room, and found my friends at the other end of the hall in an attempt to relax. There were still students in the hall when I returned to my testing room, which was now closed. Not really thinking, I entered and went to my seat. I had only missed one minute of the introduction, and the tests had not been handed out yet. After our first break, I apologized to my proctor for my tardiness. My test was collected with all of the others at the end of the test. What I want to know is, is there anything in the SAT rules that could cause the testing center to not submit my test for scoring because I entered the room after it closed, but before the tests were distributed? And if so, does the testing center have to tell me if they void my test? During the test, the thought that I may be taking the SAT for nothing drove me crazy.

You just wasted 4 hours of your life, they already burned your test.

You know, my proctor actually said, “You can go use the restroom while I’m reading the rules. The directions aren’t really all that important.”

I’m sure you’ll be fine. =)

u should be fine

dont stress about it

The proctor probably would have informed you.

They wouldn’t make you take it for four hours if your score was immediately canceled. Don’t sweat it. And they probably would have taken away your test instead of collected it.

Thanks! I’m probably just paranoid.
