I was just recently accepted to a university and I'm 99% sure that I will be attending. However, there are a couple more admissions decisions I want to wait on (For personal reasons). I was just curious if I would still receive these decisions even if I commit. I personally don't think so, but my mom has been bugging me. Any input would be helpful!

A major reason to wait to commit is to see what financial packages the other schools can offer you. If they are better than school 1, you can go and leverage school 1’s offer to you and ask them to sweeten the package.

Or perhaps school 2 or 3 offers you a scholarship package that blows you away. You never know.

If you need to deposit at the univ that you have been accepted at for housing or priority registration reasons, go ahead. Later if one of the other colleges comes though and you want to change, withdraw from the university and accept the new one. As long as you have accepted only one college at a time, you will be ok ethically.
